It wouldn't solve the problem at hand.=20 Without any flag at all, the user needs to 'emerge xorg-x11' manually to ge= t=20 eg KDE to run locally. With an off-by-default flag, he needs to set it on=20 manually, _before_ installing KDE, to get an xorg-x11 server. As long as he= =20 needs to do something manually, explicitly, it should just be an 'emerge=20 xorg-x11', which after all is a very simple operation. =2D-=20 Dan Armak Gentoo Linux developer (KDE) Public GPG key: http://dev.gentoo.org/~danarmak/danarmak-gpg-public.key =46ingerprint: DD70 DBF9 E3D4 6CB9 2FDD 0069 508D 9143 8D5F 8951 --nextPart102738234.HpHDjttPMD Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBDV+0fUI2RQ41fiVERAi6zAJ98byawB6OgZh3GA2jB+Ri9J8cykgCfYRng e1Uwo/AEQZ7ShcArPa5IqZI= =6VlI -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart102738234.HpHDjttPMD-- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
