I'm in favour of this. As an upstream developer of phpMyAdmin, we've used this procedure for a long time, using cvs2cl for this purpose (see my name in the cvs2cl contributers list as well ;-). We'd need to add a bit of code to put in the new ebuild extra stuff, but other than that, it should work out of the box. > logic: Question: - are CVS commit messages UTF8 safe? --=20 Robin Hugh Johnson E-Mail : robbat2@orbis-terrarum.net Home Page : http://www.orbis-terrarum.net/?l=3Dpeople.robbat2 ICQ# : 30269588 or 41961639 GnuPG FP : 11AC BA4F 4778 E3F6 E4ED F38E B27B 944E 3488 4E85 --a8Wt8u1KmwUX3Y2C Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1-ecc0.1.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Robbat2 @ Orbis-Terrarum Networks iD8DBQFDAnCnPpIsIjIzwiwRAuBiAJ4rlFYD+8M5qtNAknQ149RdTocgjwCfZAdv W2jVdWCQZrQ/tK+0t6zh0Ds= =IGk3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --a8Wt8u1KmwUX3Y2C-- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
