Both have pros and cons. Well, the ASF has everyting converted into a singl= e=20 repository and they seem to be just lucky with it. KDE is about to convert= =20 everything into a single svn repos as well (for other reasons). =46or the Gentoo projects, it might make sense (administrative) to keep=20 everything into a single repository as well. However, providing each sub=20 project with its own repository will work around the single-point-of-failur= e=20 effect (in worst case) so it's likely to happen this way. However, it's not likely to happen today or tomorrow, like ramereth said. be patient ;) Christian Parpart. =2D-=20 Netiquette: http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1855.txt 20:17:34 up 18 days, 9:23, 0 users, load average: 0.76, 0.80, 0.72 --nextPart3192113.hlF7udO2aG Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBCWW/5Ppa2GmDVhK0RAtYgAJ4pw3csK/b6NrWS6z3GE1AoVUvVpwCePdOw Zh2HcpJP6KMAWLwOOByu+jo= =CMH9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart3192113.hlF7udO2aG-- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
