I'm a fan of subversion. Hosted an ebuild overlay (the original kde split=20 ebuilds) at berlios.de because we only had cvs. So I'm obviously glad to se= e=20 this :-) You write that subversion supports changesets, but AFAIK it doesn't, and th= e=20 Subversion Book seems to confirm this. What exactly do you mean by=20 changesets? I'm not sure what changesets are myself, but fex. there's no SV= N=20 format for describing a commit's contents (properties, moves, ...) which ca= n=20 be applied to a working copy (as svn merge would). I see nothing else to comment on in the protoGLEP, as it has nothing=20 Gentoo-specific in it... For people familiar with svn, the Abstract and=20 Motivation are the only interesting parts. =2D-=20 Dan Armak Gentoo Linux developer (KDE) Public GPG key: http://dev.gentoo.org/~danarmak/danarmak-gpg-public.key =46ingerprint: DD70 DBF9 E3D4 6CB9 2FDD 0069 508D 9143 8D5F 8951 --nextPart1366376.LcYRjWvLob Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBCMI+1UI2RQ41fiVERAlpdAJ4tapb+uq98J7PesHPdxuP36+H0YACfbZGR ycoCiiDLUumnRUWok04Szuc= =S7YT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1366376.LcYRjWvLob-- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
