Eclectic (formerly known as eselect, econfig or gentoo-syntax) is
probably going to do something similar in a way better suited for
Gentoo.

Uh, I of course meant gentoo-config, not -syntax. See, this is why
clever names are better. They're harder to confuse.

We're keeping this low profile for now, so don't go around advertising
this on any mailing lists or anything (oops), but #gentoo-eclectic. This
is *not* ready for press releases / announcements / "stuff people are
working on" GWN sections / anything like that.
