Hi guys,

On all keywords, irssi-charconv has been obsoleted by irssi-0.8.10's builtin
recode (so irssi now blocks it). It's also unmaintained. I've had it
package.masked for a month pending its removal.

It just so happens irssi's new builtin /recode stuff is a lot less flexible,
but the blocker is still there all the same :)

If there are no objections I'll remove it from the tree tomorrow.

Thanks,
Tom

I dont use it personally, but whats the harm of leaving it in the
tree? -- I only see a reason to remove it when all irssi versions
<0.8.10 are removed from the tree. Assuming new irssi versions wont
support it again because of complaints :)

The first and main reason is because it's unmaintained, and because it's not
stable keyworded, it's breaking nothing.
