I would like to start creating ebuilds for products and maintaining them but
I'm a little concerned that my contributions won't be accepted. Will I be
wasting my time asking to be a maintainer for a couple of ebuilds I create
and get them in the tree?

Hey man, your first message got through. There's no need for all that. In
fact, your caps gave you a spamassassin rating, whereas the first post
didn't.

Actually, he did it to block a single moron's so called "spam filter"
which requires you to put "DO NOT BLOCK" in the subject.
Why said person subscribes to a mailinglist I do not know. And he ended
up killfiled here, simply because its an annoyance to get a reply that
tells me that I have to change the subject to DO NOT BLOCK.
