I don't agree, many large projects are written with PHP, I'm sure you can f= ind=20 many examples for it. LAMP skills are quite common (and I have to think abo= ut=20 others maintaining the code after me if needed), and I'm sure LAMP is/will = be=20 installed on the servers -stats will be deployed on. Anyway, there's nothing you can do with one lang which can be done with the= =20 other for web devel (and PHP is designed for it). While python gives clear= =20 advantage in the client side (portage), there's no such advantage on the=20 server side. Those who want to follow the development, the modules are stored on gentoo'= s=20 cvs. Server: gentoo-src/gentoo-stats/server-ng Client: gentoo-src-gentoo-stats/client-ng Cheers =2D --=20 Meir Kriheli MKsoft systems http://www.mksoft.co.il =2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/vXUaRkS5DWK1mZkRAstmAJ4sOENNy0RQCtsho+DxzC5/O+w7ggCgjKPC NRwmMiSlPQJ17nWo22kkpFw=3D =3D078z =2D----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
