if no one has any objections i'm going to prune the old profiles in a few 
days ... specifically default-1.0_rc6 and default-1.0-gcc3 ...
i dont believe any one is still actually using these (rc6 should be using the 
plain 1.0 while the gcc3 should be using the x86-1.4) and as such, they're 
just cruft ;)

On the topic of profiles, I'd like to add 'selinux' to use.mask for all
non-selinux 1.4 profiles.  Asserting the selinux use flag is
insufficient for creating a SELinux system, and people need to use the
selinux profiles to get the right versions of selinux-patched packages,
and all other requirements.

Probably a good idea to get gentoo-stats running again and watch what is
there. I have a box or two with old profiles. (not those two tough)
