Hi All,

Just to inform you that as of a few minutes ago, coreutils-5.0-r3 has
gone stable in x86. Additionally, it is in the default-x86-1.4 profile
as well (fileutils, textutils and sh-utils have been removed from the
profile). Please upgrade to coreutils-5.0-r3 and remove fileutils,
textutils, and sh-utils from your system. Finally, please upgrade your
debianutils to remove the clash on readlink between debianutils and
coreutils. Hopefully, ppc, sparc, alpha and mips will follow suit soon.

Thanks,

Just a heads-up...

I've found that arts-1.1.3 doesn't compile with coreutils-5.0-r3 - at least,
it doesn't configure due to the head -1 depracation. I've posted a bug
(#28489) with a fixed ebuild, but it hasn't been addressed yet.

Apologies. I did search and tried the same search again ("arts head") and no
bugs were listed. Ahh, just noticed that I was using the subject field rather
than the comments. No way to search all fields?

Anyway, I checked the bug and, while arts was listed in a comment, it was not
listed in the subsequent attached list of offending ebuilds which is probably
how it slipped through.

Regards,
Jason
