Oregon State University has offered the use of a couple of Sony PlayStation
2 machines for purposes of porting Gentoo over to it. They have NICs, hard
drives and an existing installation of linux on them. Basically, they're
all set up to start porting. One suggestion was that these would be an
ideal platform for LiveCD/GameCD technology.

Anyone interested in taking up the charge? If so, please contact me off
list and I can give you more info.

P.S. and just to stave off the inevitable, no -- you may not have one of
these machines to play games on. They're going to remain at OSU. :P
