What I am trying to figure out though is how to get the patches into the kernel on the livecd so that a blind computer user can boot it up and install gentoo without assistance. I have emerged the livecd-ng tool onto my system, and I am looking through the script and getting an idea of how it works. My goal is to create a gentoo-basic or gentoo-3stages livecd for the x86 architecture that has speakup in the kernel. Is the sample profile that comes with the livecd-ng tool the one that is used to create the official gentoo livecds? If not, could someone on the list tell me where I can get that profile?
