Hello
Latest repoman seems to enable *all* possible USE flags for it's
test. That makes it sometimes impossible to commit because it
sometimes hits an app which is not keyworded for non-x86 archs.
For example:
"net-mail/sendmail" wants "cyrus-sasl" wants
"app-crypt/kth-krb" wants "net-fs/openafs"
And here at least openafs is x86 only. But i guess noone
expects us to mark sendmail "-sparc" because openafs is
not available for this arch.
Ok, sometimes rar optional dependencies are sometimes not
available on a non-x86 arch or theres simply currently
no expert available to test and fix hugh projects for some
arch.
Maybe huge x86? or !sparc? in hundreds of ebuilds could somehow
fix this (no expert on those things) but it's nothing which
can be done fast and in the meantime things like "sendmail"
need to be keyworded and updated.
Those highly optional deps seem not to be a huge problem at
lest for the sparc users. I never seen a complain about this
stuff.
Is there some kind of legitimation to bypass "repoman commit"?
Christian
