Me too, in fact reading about your desire to get Portage running on OS X
almost got me excited enough to run out and buy a Mac (I don't have one
currently.) But since I don't have the funds available for that... :/
One thing you could do is see if you could set up an OS X machine and give
me root access and then I can see what I can do to get Portage working.
I'm willing to make a decent investment of time for this, because the sooner
we get Portage running on OS X, the sooner people can start making ebuilds
for it. Just needs a little push to get off the ground.
