When I try to compile qmail-1.03-r9 I get :

./makelib datetime.a datetime.o datetime_un.o
./load auto-str substdio.a error.a str.a
substdio.a(substdo.o)(.text+0x5d): In function `substdio_flush':
: undefined reference to `errno'
substdio.a(substdo.o)(.text+0x158): In function `substdio_bput':
: undefined reference to `errno'
substdio.a(substdo.o)(.text+0x29e): In function `substdio_put':
: undefined reference to `errno'
substdio.a(substdo.o)(.text+0x2bb): In function `substdio_put':
: undefined reference to `errno'
substdio.a(substdo.o)(.text+0x378): In function `substdio_putflush':
: undefined reference to `errno'
substdio.a(substdo.o)(.text+0x38d): more undefined references to `errno'
follow
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [auto-str] Ошибка 1
make: *** Ожидание завершения заданий...
qmail-local.c: In function `main':
qmail-local.c:627: warning: return type of `main' is not `int'

I have gcc-3.2.3-r1 and glibc-2.3.2-r1.

Wow... i thought the errno patch made its way in the qmail ebuild a long time
ago.
