[gentoo-dev] New kde-cvs tarball

Hello everyone,

I've at long last started maintaining the kde cvs ebuilds again. I've 
installed them and fixed all the obvious issues. A new webpage and tarball is 
available at http://cvs.gentoo.org/~danarmak/kde-cvs.html. Any bugs & 
problems should be re-reported to me, because I probably won't extensively 
test all the bugreports sent to me during the time I wasn't maintaining the 
ebuilds.

Enjoy and try to forgive the long delay :-)

kdelibs-5 fails with the following error message:

Euhm... Well the arts version is determined by the arts cvs code obviously 
(have you emerged it recently?) and I don't see how the ebuilds could affect 
it. Remerging arts didn't help?

Hi Dan,

Trying the cvs tarball on a new installation (no qt/kde at all) leads to 
problems compiling kdelibs.

The files subdir for qt doesn't contain env.d files for qt, and since there's 
no previous installation of qt, qt's lib dir isn't set in /etc/ld.so.conf 
(which leads to breakage compiling ssl support in kde-libs).

Keep up the excellent work :-)
