FYI.

Chris Seawood @ Mozilla is putting the Qt build stuff on the chopping
block. If you want to see the Qt build of mozilla get fixed and survive
as an alternative to GTK and Xlib, you should add yourself and comments to
this bug:

http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178987

<sidebar>
  <para>IMO -- I think it's important to keep all of the toolkits working,
and if given the choice and it worked correctly, I would probably choose
Qt over GTK... since I generally prefer my Qt apps overall vs GTK
equivalents.</para>
</sidebar>

Cheers,
Dylan Carlson [absinthe@pobox.com]

Btw (and this may be unrelated), whatever happened to the kmozilla (might be
the wrong name) thing? I would *love* to see a plugin for Konqueror that
allowed it to use Gecko instead of KHTML... Does anyone know?

The issue has gotten more attention and now has it's own project page. So
perhaps the reports of its death have been exaggerated...

Well, I can't speak on kmozilla... but I can say that the indirect result
of getting Mozilla's QT bindings up again will mean that Phoenix will have
a QT build, which one of the users is looking for to get it working on his
Sharp Zaurus.

FYI --

Qt-mozilla has been officially removed from the Mozilla tree. This means
you either choose from GTK or Xlib for the forseeable future.

If you want to continue work on Qt-mozilla, use the QT_LAST_RITES tag (from
Mozilla.org's CVS server) to restore your Mozilla source tree to the last
known "working" state.

Cheers,
Dylan Carlson [absinthe@pobox.com]
