The company I work for is in the process of switching from RedHat to Gentoo, mostly due to the easier maintence of the portage system. I need to create a custom install CD based off the live CD. I tried to follow the instructions in the docs to boot the initrd image off the live CD, but I get an error that /etc/init.d/rcS (or something similar cannot be found), but it does give me a console. I run /linuxrc and detection of the dtc driver causes the user mode linux process to exit immediately. Could someone please update the instructions? The date on the current one is 5 Mar 2002. Thanks. - -- Pat Double, double@inebraska.com "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+GIwxdOmLNuoWoKgRAkB5AJwKUfRLlJ8Gl3fxoaAO0j73tWodewCg46m3 w1s0gge+H9k4H3BoS/Lg2Eo= =tu39 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
