hello,
is there a switch within protage to clean old/unused source and binary
packages from /usr/portage/distfiles and /usr/portage/packages/* and the
links from their according directories?
If not, does anybody know/have a script which can do that?
PS: If there is no such switch, it would be a nice feature in some future
version, don't you think?

Yep, there is one. Search in the gentoo forum!
