It's actually been put back on hold until we can resolve a problem with
the libperl.so (namely that it is always called libperl.so no matter
what version it refers to). If that is fixed appropriately - hopefully
no remerging will be necessary. If you go with the masked build,
emerging will be necessary, which is something we'd rather avoid.
