hi there
I added a package.mask file to /usr/local/portage to maintain my own .mask
I have nessus installed and it's broken without gtk installed (firewall machine .. no gtk/X/etc)
This doesn;t seem to work ..
I can't do an update world unless I manually add nessus to package.mask ..
but this gets overridden at rsync .. .
any suggestions ?
Henti

Use the PORTDIR_OVERLAY feature in /etc/make.conf

For nessus w/o X and Gtk use:
--without-x
--disable-gtk
Just my $0.02
