Subject: [gentoo-dev] Transcode ebuild: missing files?
Date: Mon, 9 Dec 2002 07:01:51 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20021209070151.GA433@lakics.homelinux.net> (raw)
Dear devs,
I am trying to use dvdrip / transcode to encode a dvd to SVCD.
Transcoding fails because the audio export plugin is missing from
/usr/lib/transcode.
export_mp2enc.so is missing. I tried emerging various transcode
versions, none provided this. Then I downloaded a binary rpm, looked
at the files supposed to go to /usr/lib/transcode, and found that a
number of files (apparently critical) missig from the ones the ebuild install.
All the IUSE flags relevant to transcode checked in my make.conf.
Could anyone help?
Thanks in advance. -- Viktor
