I didn't say a word about mozilla 1.0.1 btw... I only wrote that 1.0-r3+macromedia had no issue on my system. And it did work for you too it seems... Perhaps didn't you unmerge properly the old mozilla ? Or perhaps is there really an issue with mozilla 1.0.1 and flash plugin.
