Thanks for the cool distro.
I am only able to get so far in the setup though...
1) I set the root password
2) PCI setup
3) netsetup
4) create the partitions /dev/hda1 (made it bootable). /dev/hda2 (swap)
and /dev/hda3
5) mkswap/swapon etc....
6) mkef2s for hda1 and hda3
7) mounted these to directories I made /mnt/gentoo and /mnt/gentoo/boot
Here's the problem:
I get the stage3 tarball and it uploads fine, but lynx then says:
"can't write to file"
so I checked what's mounted with 'mount' and I see:
/dev/hda1 mounted on /mnt/gentoo/boot/ (rw)
/dev/hda3 mounted on /mnt/gentoo (rw)
hdparm says the drives are ok... I think. the only things it says is
'dma 1 on'
Have any ideas about what I'm doing wrong?
Shane

Lynx puts things in /tmp first.
You're probably out of space on /tmp which has very little space.
Can you use wget instead?
