Subject: [gentoo-dev] gvim doesn't accept LANG=de_DE@euro
Date: Fri, 27 Sep 2002 19:09:50 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200209271909.50097.bastiaf@gmx.de> (raw)
Hello,
if a copy something from mozilla to gvim or from gvim to mozilla, all umlauts
are missed.
xprop says, that gvim runs with
WM_LOCALE_NAME(STRING) = "de"
but I startet gvim with
LANG=de_DE@euro gvim
or
LANG=de_DE gvim
Is this a bug?
What can I do to get umlauts for copy and paste?
Thx,
Bastian
PS: Another problem is, that my home and end keys don't work with
gnome-terminal (it works correct in all other apps). I read something about
/etc/inputrc, but I can't remember what do to there.
