[gentoo-dev] Advanced user install doc

I was just reading the doumentation howto and at the
end it states that someone wishing to write docs
should write here and declare what they want to do.

Since I am not a Gentoo pro, I wrote up a proposal of
what I want to do here:

Basically I want to extend the Installatin guides with
another one that tackles hardware people may have.
Things like SCSI cdr's, zip drives, scanners, etc...

Please let me know if this is a Bad Idea (Tm) before I
begin. Everyone has been more than helpful so far so
it is time for me to try to give back a little.
