Hi
I'm not sure if this post should be here or in gentoo-user.
I'm interested in creating my own CD and floppy minidistributions using
Gentoo. I can't seem to find any info on this.
There are two things I need at the moment
(1)A floppy based mini distro contaning afs and parted for dealing with
linux+win boxes.(If you know about one allready could you send me a private
email?)
(2)Since I mess around with my system more than I should :) it would be nice
if I could create a CD distro contaning parted/sfdisk, tar, gzip and a huge
tarball contaning my whole system. A bare metal recovery would probably take
less than fifteen minutes using this method which is a Good Thing (tm).
I could probably use the boot image from the install CD for (2) so I
wouldn't need to create a distro for this but general info on how to do so
(building the system/creating bootable CDs and floppies) collected in one
place would be useful to me and probably others.
