hmm. anyone still knows good old Loki?
beside some ported games they did a library called "openAL" which was afaik under GPL.
this library is still important to many new (or new ported) games, as there were, conflict freespace, vegastrike, reaper3D, ...,...
however the library was not accessible anymore, since both ftp and cvs server of loki were down after their company failure
but meanwhile openAL is accessible again, under http://opensource.creative.com/ (cvs) thanx to creative, no matter how bad some of their soundchipdrivers are ;)
ok so why not write ebuilds for openAL , host a tarball on ibiblio.org and write ebuilds for all that great games? i duuna have time for all of them, just the idea <g>
or did u all know openAL was accesible again?
