So I was a little surprised. > -- > MadCoder (53 53) You could always use the iproute2 commands if you have them installed -- eg: ip addr add dev eth0 129.104.221.100/24 The above adds the address 129.104.221.100 netmask 255.255.255.0 to eth0 (I think this is equivalent to an alias when using ifconfig). -- Z
