Subject: [gentoo-dev] gentoo 1.3a simple installation system
Date: Wed, 12 Jun 2002 05:13:20 +0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20020611211320.7761.qmail@graffiti.net> (raw)

Hello.

I have a problem with gentoo-dev at hotmail )I dont receive any mails at all whereas there's traffic) so I have a new e-mail address dedicated to gentoo development.

Ok, I have used pdmenu (a lil shell, very nice and configurable) to set up a decent way to isntall gentoo 1.3a on one's system. It's similar to debian's own thing, but it is special in its own way. Users can connect using an IRC client to #gentoo in OPN and ask questions before bootstapping. Also, users are able to read documentation from gentoo.org website.

I will not attach to this email the work I've done for obvious reasons... Anyone interested in what I've done is welcome to send me an email to this address and I can send them a copy of the patch to stage1 of gentoo 1.3a for ix86'

Au plaisir! :P
