GNUCash appears to be broken. Anyone else having trouble, or should I be
looking internally?

Hey,

I think you can fix it by emerging one of the packages it depends on
again.  Do a quick search on google for "gentoo gnucash dynamic link,"
hopefully will show something relevant.
