I have been trying to download the 1.1a ISO for the last few days.
ibiblio says "file not found" I've tried every browser out there...
Galeon, Netscape, Mozilla, Konqueror, even IE!
Whats the deal?
I want Gentoo!  But I can't find mirrors of the ISO images, and I can't get
ibiblio to give it to me

Are you behind a wierd proxy? try using ncftp, wget or some such on
ftp://www.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/gentoo/releases/build/1.1a/gentoo-$ARCH-1.1a-r3.iso

where arch is either ppc, ix86, sparc, i686.

I had the same results today as well. I finally got it from
the Venezuela mirror. Check the gentoo.org site for link.
