First of all I love gentoo. I used most of the main
linux distribution and nothing comes close to what
Gentoo is and can offer.
I am looking for LTSP pacakges so that I can use
gentoo on my server at home and use old machines for
client. Are there any development happening on porting
to ltsp on Gentoo. Currently I am using K12LTSP (which
is based on Redhat). Gentoo is perfect to use if there
is LTSP packages available.
Thanks for giving Gentoo to world.

A gentoo-ltsp package would be great. After installing ltsp on gentoo
manually in the last months, perhaps i could help. Let me know if
somebody is interested in taking care about this "project".

Bastian Dingeldein,
I would love to take care of gentoo-ltsp package if I can. My knowledge in
Gentoo is limited but I am programmer and python is my preferred language. I
have install gentoo system on at least 5 different machines and various
packages. If you think I can do it, let me know. Send an email at
vbunix@yahoo.com.

I have already done this! I have been running a LTSP-gentoo system
since January; maybe I should have told someone? Here are my files...
BTW, I am also writting many extensions to LTSP (including Gnome
integrated remote floppy, cdrom) which all have there own ebuilds. I
will release when I feel they are ready.
