As an update on the KDE HEAD compilation problems.
   1.5d: doesn't work (gentoo 1.5 from redhat)

   1.5: does work, and is the kde suggested one, but
        will not install into a 'versioned' directory,
        therefore not allowing for an installation together
        with 1.4.

        but it might be possible to have a completely
        seperate 1.5 directory: (via --prefix)

        therefore, tonight i'll make a 1.5 package that prefixes
        to /usr/share/automake-1.5. not sure at all of this location though ;-)

   1.6.1: mueller + coolo both suggested that this version
          should work, but alas, it does not, but its nevertheless
          a nice idea to have it, as coolo uses it (+ a few possible
          suse patches)

The automake wrapper gets lots of options therefore ;-)

everyone please just pretend i didn't post this,
as i've just emerge rsync'ed at home to find that 
kde compilation works ;-)
