Hi all,
In portage 2's project page it says they're using C++ to develop it, but
Daniel Robbins said in an interview for OSNews that they're still using
python due to development speed. This seems the most sensible thing to do,
only now I'm a little confused. portage2's cvs is mostly empty. Would anyone
share what are the plans for portage2 and at what stage its development is
right now
Cheers,
David

The C++ version of portage is no longer being developed by Gentoo. I
believe that Uwyn (Geert Bevin) may continue to work on it privately,
though. Please search the archives for more information.
