Hi
I have a 3Com gigabit card that just will not work with the gentoo-sources kernel - compiles okay, the driver just can't/won't configure the board!
Lemme know if the Intel card works though...

Hi;
For gigabit drivers under linux see:
http://www.scyld.com/network/index.html#gigabit
You may wish to download a driver not yet in the kernel,
or in the case of intel, download the driver they supply.
