Is there a way to use portage without downloading all the scripts using rsync?
For example, I would type
emerge --location ftp://ftp.gentoo.org/portage pkgname
And it will download into temp files only needed package to determine
dependencies / go ahead with the merge.
Or is the current portage force to have all the ebuild locally available? (NFS
is not an option in the case I'm looking for)
