Hi,

Firstly let me thank all the developers for a great distro. As this is my
first post I thought I should thank everyone for the effort.

Now to my question. In the nvidia-kernel ebuild, the kernel module is placed
in /lib/modules/{kernel-version}/kernel/video

This means that a recompiled kernel, specifically a make modules_install will
overwrite the NVdriver file in /lib/modules/{kernel-version}/kernel/video

Wouldn't a more appropriate place be /lib/modules/{kernel-version}/video like
the alsa modules go into /lib/modules/{kernel-version}/misc ???

Just a thought. Have a great day.

In my experience they are too kernel specific, and prob wont
load. I could be wrong though for new versions.
