I have a problem with portage. I'll give an example with cscope, but its
happening with most packages on my system, but not all.
tundra bin # qpkg -f /usr/bin/cscope
tundra bin # qpkg -l cscope

I know this looks like a gentoolkit problem, but I also have a problem with
emerge not unmerging files properly, which makes me wonder if the two are
connected somehow. For example, the koffice ebuild left kword, kugar,
kspread, etc in /usr/bin.

no. it seems a lot of the files being left behind are symlinks, but the
koffice apps are not.
