[gentoo-dev] Problems compiling samba

Does anyone have an idea what might be my problem here ?
Is there a kernel option (besides smbfs) that I need to turn on ?

Does your kernel have smbfs support? Just a guess.

Yes. your problem is that you haven't read the archives of gentoo-user.
and, you haven't downgraded your linux-headers to a working version.
