I dont know what the right fix is; in gdb, bfd/bfd.h has an enum that conflicts with the enum in stdbool.h (defining 'true' and 'false') Either curses.h needs to be smarter, or bfd-in.h needs tuning.... ???? Paul set@pobox.com (if you need gdb to build, do what I said in my last post, or add the line above to your /etc/make.profile/packages file, remerge ncurses, then gdb.
