Hi,
I learned about the Gentoo Linux distro today thanks to the Slashdot
article. I really like the concept, and I'll probably try this distro one
of these days.
I'd like to point out 2 broken links on your FAQ page. In part 2 of the
FAQ, there's a reference to a C++ Coding Standard
(http://www.gentoo.org/doc/cpp_codingstandard.html), and in part 3 a
reference to the Portage2 development how-to
(http://www.gentoo.org/doc/howto.html). Neither of these links work.
Keep up the good work!
Bye,
David.

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean if Pac Man had
affected us as kids, now we'd all be running around in
darkened rooms, bumping into people, munching pills and
listening to repetitive electronic music.

Not for me. I am getting this:
Not Found The requested URL /doc/cpp_codingstandard.html was not found on
this server.
Apache/1.3.22 Server at www.gentoo.org Port 80
Network related notice:
I am browsing this from computer on a LAN behind masquerading firewall
(pretty basic). I don't think it should matter though.

Which browser are you using, since there's no reason why this shouldn't
work. It's a relative link, no base href in the document.

I tried konqueror-2.2.2, mozilla-1.98, netscape-4.47.
I am getting the reported message for both links.
BTW, where do these links come from?
on the portage2 page I see such links:
http://www.gentoo.org/projects/portage2/howto.html
http://www.gentoo.org/projects/portage2/cpp_codingstandard.html
and they work!
