Hi everyone,

Drobbins told me to put all the gentoo-ebuild luggage into incoming, even
though dev-wiki is down and there'll be no notes. So I'm going to do just
that. Once I'm finished, incoming will contain as many as 60+ ebuilds. Hope
someone can make good use of them all!

(Hurry with the issue tracking decision, wherever it's stuck this time)

Agreed, how's it going Kabau?

We really need something setup soon, the incoming directory is a really
bad way of handling this.

Setting up bugtrackers is annoying. :) Bugzilla is just stupidly setup,
and roundup doesn't appear to want to work per the instructions. I'm about
to drop a note to roundup-users.

Agreed.

As I said before, I'd be happy to help. If you don't trust me to mess with
gentoo-cvs (fair enough), I have my own server I can put a few test installs
on. I would like to help, If Kabau has too much work to do, I could take some
of the overload.

I'm just currently wading through dependencies for roundup. bsddb-3.3.0 is
currently giving me a little grief.

Could you synchronize this with kabau and you can split the burden of
setting up test systems?

As Kabau requested I've setup an installation of the Pest issuetracker on my
server. It seems that Roundup is much more functional, but in the interested
of evaluation, I'd like to open up the Pest installation for examination.

Anyway, the pest is available at:

http://www.offthehill.org/pest

Use these two usernames: GuestUser and GuestAdmin. They have the permissions
their name implies. The password for both is 'gentoo'. Feel free to do
whatever you wish to the database, there is nothing of value there.

It seems kabau has roundup and bugzilla under control (well, maybe not! ;) ,
but if I can help out by installing any other issue trackers, let me know.

Cool, thanks!

Bugzilla is working correctly now at:

http://bugz-test.gentoo.org/bugzilla-2.14/

Scarab is almost running. I need to setup mysql for it.

Roundup is running fine, but python and it don't agree on database stuff.
I'm working on that, but python 2.1.1 segfaults on me now. Joy.

I noticed the first time I started it that 'new' was greyed out... as soon as
I clicked on 'listing', new was suddenly available. I'm not sure why that is,
but if you try clicking on Bugs->Listing and the New, it should work.

I'm not at expert at Pest by any means, In fact, I haven't used it except
today.
