FYI,

linux source is broken.

Yip, that's way it's called "Pre-release", thus it's not guaranteed to do
anything, except perhaps to crash a compilation or system ;^)

Seriously, if you aren't a kernel developer or tester, then steer clear
of the pre-releases. You might be better off to got to the -ac patches if there
are features that you are needing that's not yet in the mainstream Linus Kernel
