Hi!

Just merged vim-6.0-r2.  The ebuild syntax highlighting is nice!

However, the ebuild overwriting my root .vimrc file was very uncool.

Perhaps it would be better to just alert the user to an example .vimrc
in /usr/share/vim....  instead.

Just merged this ebuild. What I do not understand, is that gvim is never
created. 
I have gtk and gnome USE variables, I have gtk installed on my rc6-9 machine.

What gives?

Yeah, I've been aware of that shortcoming.  Sorry you were bitten by it.
For now, I've just modified the ebuild to not install a .vimrc for root.

Could you send me the entire output from emerge for this?  Don't send to
the list, send directly to <agriffis@gentoo.org>.  I've not heard of
this happening before.
