Add this to your devfsd.conf and HUP devfsd:

REGISTER        ^misc/psaux$    CFUNCTION GLOBAL symlink misc/psaux mouse
UNREGISTER      ^misc/psaux$    CFUNCTION GLOBAL unlink mouse

Or you could edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file to point to the right
device....
