Hi Daniel,

after merging portage 1.5.4 i'm unable to do the follwoing :

1) ebuild foo.ebuild fetch

2) ebuild foo.ebuild digest

3) ebuild foo.ebuild clean unpack compile install
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/sbin/ebuild", line 32, in ?
    a=portage.doebuild(pargs[0],x,getroot(),debug=debug)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.0/site-packages/portage.py", line 486, in doebuild
    myso=getstatusoutput("/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh depend")
  File "/usr/lib/python2.0/commands.py", line 52, in getstatusoutput
    text = pipe.read()
KeyboardInterrupt

nothing happens for a long time and have to interrupt the oprations using ctrl+c

Best Regards,

pm

Please send me or identify the ebuild that is causing this problem. It
shouldn't happen with every ebuild, and I imagine it is due to an error in the
ebuild itself.
