alright, did that already.

that's good, because it needs the -r1-diff-file in files.
maybe i should change that, since the diff didn't change at all, 
just the src_install.

hmmm, it worked with -march=i686 etc.
the -O3 gets ignored (not silently) by parts of the building process.
but that's just pccts specific.
same probs with cdrdao which uses pccts.

bad bad... sorry, i only got _one_ machine to test on.
and on my box it worked smoothly - despite the temporary ignore of "-O3".

and the "-mpentiumpro" isn't a typo in the mail ?
i mean, shouldn't it be "-mcpu=pentiumpro" ??
