[gentoo-dev] shadow ebuild

Hi, just rebuilt my sys and had to modify
/sys-apps/shadow's ebuild.
The digest needs to be moved to r4, not r3,
and the patch is already applied, but doesnt work,
and this patch is needed instead...

oops couldnt be bothered typing it, just
search for Dflg = 0; in useradd.c,
and replace it with the next two lines-
Dflg = 0,
nflg = 0;

Got bitten by this one just now :(=)

However,
 brings me to the point that patch's exit status doesn't appear to be
checked by ebuild/emerge :(

Could we please add checking for that exit status... 
First prize: let it show where the patches are failing
