Hi,

I confuse about ebuild file, especially ebuild with more than one revision.

For example, there are xyz.ebuild, xyz-r1.ebuild, and xyz-r2.ebuild, then
what is the differences between them.
I suggest to add README file for every package directory, contain
description about all of ebuild files. It's a good idea if there is
CHANGELOG/HISTORY for every packages.

Different revisions mean the same version of the program is installed, but
the installation process and result is different. E.g. different install
location, different default configuraion, fixing of serious bugs...

-r1 of a package is "revision 1"; -r2 is "revision 2". You should use the most
recent revision available. If there is no -rx specified, it is -r0 (the initial,
unrevised version).
